Traumatic Brain Injury
An assigned DRC specialist will work with each individual to determine which accommodations/services the student may need.
Commonly Used Accommodations
- Tape recording lectures
- Notetaker
- Extra time on exams
- Consultation and recommendation to Housing Office for appropriate accommodation in Residence Halls
Required Documentation
A complete neuropsychological report that:
- is not more than 3 years old
- was conducted by a qualified examiner
- diagnoses a brain injury
- provides a rationale for accommodations based upon substantial limitation
