International Study Program

The Disability Resource Center and the Office of International Study Programs work in collaboration to verify the need for reasonable accommodation to students during their studies abroad. Students requesting disability related reasonable accommodation via the Disability Resource Center must do so in addition to following all regular Office of International Study Programs procedures.

Students needing accommodation in the International Study Programs must register with the DRC and open a file. Once a student has opened a file at the DRC they may request an official information packet that will verify their disability and accommodation needs to the host school. Three months prior departure to the host school students will need to meet with their assigned DRC Specialist to submit the need for reasonable accommodations.

To begin the International Study Programs request for reasonable accommodation process, please complete the Request for Accomodations for International Study Program form. You will also need to download and fax a completed Release Form to the Disability Resource Center.
